It’s working!!
All this hard work is paying off…
I’m feeling way more energy and so happy I can share with you how I produce hormones…
I did a Facebook Live where I show you how I make my hormone producing shake…
I mentioned a few nutrients I’m taking along with the shake…
I want to expand on why I do that because I think it’s important for you to understand the big picture…
Remember, I’m a home brewer…
Not a doctor…
So the way I think of what I’m doing this weekend is growing probiotics in my gut that help me produce hormones
This is what I mean when I say I’m using ancient wisdom (fermentation) to fine tune my diet to improve my health and vitality…
… but instead of fermenting grains…
I’m working with fats…
I had my shake on Thursday…
Friday, I did my regular ketogenic smoothie from noon until dinner…
… and ended the day with a fatty smoked brisket and ribs…
No carbs…
Stayed in “ketosis”…
Follow this…
I fed myself fats and nutrients that I know these probiotics need…
Saturday, my focus was on creating an environment to grow hormone and vitamin producing probiotics in my gut…
Here’s how I did it…
#1 I fasted…
#2 … and I created a “starter” culture of hormone and vitamin producing probiotics in my gut…
I’m going to do my best to break it down for you…
Here it is…
Like I’ve shown you from day one…
I’ve been practically living off of coconut oil, avocados, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc…
I’m keto-adapted…
… which means my body is able to use fatty acids for energy…
I’m going to the gym…
Not only do I have tons of energy before and after working out…
… but my body is also recovering fast…
So this is working for me!
Here’s what I did Saturday and why…
2 gallons of Steam Distilled Water
10 Capsules of Fermented Cod Liver Oil…
1 tbsp Celtic Sea Salt
10 droppers of pink Himalayan salt water
The reason I take Fermented Cod Liver Oil isn’t because it has Vitamin D…
Which it does…
… but the reason I take it is because I’m looking for the probiotics that make Vitamin D…
… and I’m looking to grow them in my gut to strengthen my immune system…
So…
#1 Fermented Cod Liver Oil has those probiotics…
They are salt-tolerant, lactic acid, and Vitamin producing bacteria…
#2 They are high moisture so I drank about 2 gallons of steam distilled water…
#3 The salts will give me the minerals and…
#4 … the Ancestral Supplements will give me the nutrients that these probiotics need to grow…
I also had Ayurvedic herbs and bitters…
I’ll be writing more about these nutrients later on…
Keep in mind…
I’ve been preparing for a couple of months so let me zoom out to make sure I’m sharing the full picture…
Here’s the thought process…
… and what I believe many are missing…
I’m doing this because to me… leaky gut is like a spoiled batch of beer…
That’s why I did a 7 day water fast…
To empty out my gut and clean it as much as I could…
Disinfect it…
Just like I would when brewing beer right before starting a new batch…
The probiotics in the Fermented Cod Liver Oil is my “new batch”…
From my understanding of brewing, just like yeast can’t grow without minerals and nutrients…
The probiotics in Fermented Cod Liver Oil need minerals and nutrients as well…
I add salts for minerals and Ancestral Supplements for nutrients…
This is the big picture of what I go through to get my body to produce hormones…
It’s graduation day…
Cycle completed…
I’m currently running a Beta Version of a “Hormone Bootcamp” designed to help people get their energy back, stop hair loss, and stay lean…
More details on that soon…
Cheers!
