Energy isn’t something that comes from a pill… One of the reasons why I hate it when people say “there’s nothing you can do about it” is because there’s one thing I learned about energy that changed the way I look at my health…
Energy production = Hormone production…
Think about that for a moment…
You may not know how your body gets energy or makes hormones… and doctors don’t ask you questions like what are you doing to produce hormones?
…. because most of them don’t seem to know how… and because if you were to learn how to do this, then you would have no need for their pills…
Well… check this out…
Did you know that probiotics make vitamins for you?
Did you know that probiotics play a key role in making hormones for you?
You may be told that you are low in vitamin D or that you have low thyroid hormone or low melatonin (sleeping hormone)…
If probiotics are responsible for getting you vitamins and hormones, wouldn’t it make sense then to focus on why are the probiotics in your body not doing their job?
Hmmm… starting to sound a little different than the “here’s a thyroid supplement that will give you energy” spiel…
Probiotics are what take energy from food and transfer it to your body through digestion…
Energy is neither created nor destroyed… energy is simply transferred from one form to another…
You eat food (energy), and that energy is supposed to be transferred to your body…
If you feel fatigued all the time, then chances are something isn’t working right, and it’s not necessarily your thyroid… it could be part, but that’s not where the process starts….
Do you get gas, bloating or constipation?
If you have low energy levels, then digestion is the first place you should be looking…
Food is supposed to give you energy… if you feel tired minutes after eating then you’re not getting energy from food… you’re probably losing energy to digestion…
This is what was happening to me… I had a hard time digesting protein and fats…. eating carbs would give me embarrassing gas…. it kept getting worse, until I decided I needed to do something about it…
I started asking myself, why is my body not digesting food? why am I getting gassy?
The only place I knew to look at that had anything to do with digestion was my beer brewing background… because when brewing beer I would essentially have to digest starch from grains into sugar…. I would also digest proteins in grains into amino acids to make that beautiful foam on top of the beer…
… and so I looked at that process and observed that the only thing I was doing to digest was to mix grains with water and minerals…
If I used water WITHOUT minerals, I wouldn’t be able to digest starch into sugar or break down protein into amino acids…. that was the key insight…
Do you have dry skin?
Once I got the insight that I was mineral deficient and dehydrated I got to work in testing some of my theories…
I began to add minerals to my water and drinking more water….
Doctors never asked me about my hydration… and frankly, I didn’t think this mattered much…
It was too simple so I wasn’t expecting much… but within days I started to notice my skin clear up…. it used to be dry, ashy and at times itchy…
As I started to work on my hydration, my digestion started to improve… it didn’t “fix it” per se, but I at least knew I was making progress and heading in the right direction…
I was doing something about this and I was feeling better!
Watching my skin improve motivated me to keep going… but then also noticed that my hair loss stopped…
You know how when you forget to water a plant it starts to wilt (leaves begin to fall off)… well my hair felt like I was wilting from dehydration and suddenly I started to revive it just by giving my body the water and minerals it needed!
That’s why the very first thing I share with people who want to know what I did to beat thyroid fatigue is hydration… It’s simple and it’s easy to test to see for yourself if I’m full of it or if this does actually work…
Can you really do something about feeling tired all the time?
Yes… and hydration is one thing you can do to improve your energy levels, sleep better and feel better…
Hydration isn’t just about “drinking more water”… There’s a lot of little insights about water & minerals that I learned from brewing beer and I put together a free 5 day hydration challenge to show people how much of a difference it makes to be properly hydrated when you understand water and minerals…
It’s literally as simple as adding a “pinch of salt” to your drinking water… but you need to know the type of salt and minerals you are looking for like ionic magnesium (a key mineral that boosts your energy and helps you sleep…)
As people started to follow along, I started to see that this was truly universal and a must for anyone looking to get more energy…

Hydration is not all of it… it’s not a treatment, cure or anything like that… it’s just the starting point and it works enough for you to abandon the idea that you can’t do anything about this or that you are doomed to feel miserable the rest of your life…
I’m about to share with you some really powerful stuff that helped me get more energy…. but let it be known that the “advanced” stuff will not be anywhere near as a effective if you ignore hydration…
It’s not so much about hydration, it’s about making sure your digestive system has the raw materials it needs to function…. water and minerals being the main ones…
So if you have dry skin, get gas, bloating or constipation then please stop here…. do not pass go, do not collect $200… work on your hydration first and then continue…
When you’re ready, the next area to look at is your sleep….
