When either one gets out of control you will start to enter the advanced stages of thyroid problems…

When thyroid nodules start to grow, you are entering the advanced stages…

What’s sad is that many people go to a doctor to get nodules checked and often times they are told that they are benign… basically saying…

Don’t worry about your thyroid nodules, they are not bad

That’s sad because people go home and don’t make any changes until their thyroid starts acting up and they are too late to do anything about it and having to contemplate the pros and cons of thyroid removal

Thyroid problems are gut problems first…

Your thyroid doesn’t work in isolation… the thyroid can only produce thyroid hormones if you can digest food and absorb nutrients from food…

This means that you need to be eating foods that give you nutrients and that your gut can digest…

Food should give you energy…

If you get sleepy after eating meals, then chances are you are not eating good food…

Most food sold at grocery stores is not real food…

The first step to boosting your thyroid is to be able to identify real food VS fake food…

If you eat real food, then the next step is to make sure that your body can digest the food you eat…

If you get gas, bloating, or constipation, then chances are you’re not digesting food properly…

The first reason why this happens is dehydration…

To properly digest food, you need to drink enough water with minerals to keep your body well hydrated…

Poor sleep is another early warning sign of thyroid problems… more so than thyroid problems it’s a sign of hormone production problems… if your body doesn’t produce melatonin (the sleeping hormone), then you may be tired but wired when your head hits the pillow… basically you feel tired, but your mind starts racing and you struggle to fall asleep…

Another common issue is to toss and turn all night or waking up to pee… you should be able to sleep through the night so that your body is restored and you wake up feeling refreshed and full of energy…

If you wake up with brain fog, or feeling like you got hit by a mack truck, then you’ll want to work on improving your sleep…

Vitamin D…

Most people do this the wrong way… not their fault because most people just don’t know that all vitamins are created through the fermentation process… another reason why gut health is so important… probiotics are what ferment, make vitamins and hormones for you…

When people are low in vitamin D, they are usually given a vitamin D3 supplement… these supplements measure the amount of vitamin D you get in IU’s… they’ll take usually 3,000 – 5,000 IU’s… some will take crazy amounts upwards of 50,000 IU’s…

The problem with these supplements is that they are not the active form of vitamin D… you need a healthy gut to convert it into the active form… that’s why I only take natural forms of vitamin D which come from fermented foods… the most common one is fermented cod liver oil or skate liver oil…

You won’t hear about these foods from doctors…

Their job is to get you to take their supplements… our job here is to get you off supplements…

If you do this right, then there’s only one thing standing in the way of you living your healthiest life…

What’s living in your gut?

If you have mostly probiotics which are friendly yeast and bacteria, then eating healthy food will give you energy and they will turn it into nutrients, vitamins and hormones for you…
