When people find this site and start learning how to get more energy and lose weight, they start to realize one thing…

The one thing I wish people knew before they remove their thyroid is that even after surgery, you are still going to have to make changes to your diet if you want to live full of energy and be able to lose weight…

A common story from those I’ve met who had their thyroid removed was that they started getting thyroid nodules… when they spoke to a doctor they were told that it’s benign and that there was “no need to worry about it”…

Unfortunately, people don’t make any changes because they are comforted thinking that there’s nothing wrong with a nodule growing so they make no changes until they go back and all of the sudden they are faced with that hard decision…

Should you go through a thyroid removal procedure?

I don’t think anyone can answer that but you…

The only thing I can chime in on is knowing that people who have had their thyroid removed have had to make diet changes that if they had done sooner, they would still have their thyroid and it would’ve been easier to get more energy and lose weight…

What Lisa started to understand was that the food that you eat determines the type of gut flora that colonizes in your gut…

If you eat food that lacks nutrients and makes your body toxic, it starts to create an environment for bad gut flora to colonize… that bad gut flora is considered bad because it steals nutrients from the food you eat, and creates toxins…

Toxins released by bad gut flora end up in your fat cells… when you gain weight, you don’t produce more fat cells… the amount of fat cells you have is fixed… what happens instead is that your fat cells expand as they get filled with toxins…

If you are gaining weight, you are not getting fat, you are becoming toxic…

That toxicity is what allows other bad stuff to grow… such as nodules…

Therefore the real problem is that your body is becoming toxic because of diet and poor lifestyle choices…

Removing your thyroid won’t fix the problem which can only be done by making lifestyle changes…

Unless you stop making your body toxic, you will continue to gain weight even after thyroid removal…

To lose weight you have to detox your body…

The changes that need to be made are much easier before thyroid removal… after thyroid removal, there’s no going back…

I’m not one to say that it’s impossible because I have strong faith…

The reason I started sharing this information is because I was told I was going to have to take hormones for the rest of my life…
