Huh? How is low thyroid hormone not a thyroid issue?
That’s because the thyroid produces mainly thyroid hormone T4, which is an inactive form of hormone. The liver converts thyroid hormone T4 into T3, which is the active form. So if your body isn’t getting enough thyroid hormone, it’s not necessarily because the thyroid isn’t working… it could be your liver that needs help more than the thyroid.
… in many cases, it’s a combination of poor liver function, people being dehydrated, not eating enough healthy fats, low vitamin D, not eating enough cholesterol… or not being able to digest foods that give you nutrients needed for hormone production.
