Does Iodized Salt Help Underactive Thyroid?

Minerals are nutrients for probiotics. Minerals are found primarily in salt. Once you know that, you can start to see why people who don’t eat mineralized salt end up with low energy and high blood pressure.

It’s crazy to think that for the longest time, I was under the impression that the opposite was true. I used to think that eating too much salt would give me high blood pressure. That's what doctors said, and I didn't think to question them.

... but something just didn't make sense. I knew I needed minerals to digest starch into sugar when brewing beer. I knew minerals were good and needed for proper digestion. As I started to research minerals, I found that the body needs minerals for many body functions including to regulate its blood pressure. Without minerals the body can’t regulate its blood pressure. The problem isn’t too much salt. The problem is lack of minerals.

This is the tricky part. Minerals are found naturally in salt, but not all salt is natural.

Iodized salt is not a natural salt. It is made in a lab by stripping most minerals and adding iodide. This salt is toxic because it lacks minerals so they make you believe it's good by telling you that other salts "don't contain iodide, a necessary nutrient".

Their playbook is to tear down other foods to push theirs as the solution.

... but iodized salt is no solution. If you only consume iodized salt (salt without minerals), you will indeed end up with high blood pressure.

This is why they say: “salt is bad for you” … but the truth is that “salt without minerals is what's bad for you.”

Once again, iodized salt is a product that shouldn’t exist. It only exists because it is heavily promoted as salt that’s good for your thyroid, while they demonize natural mineralized salt as being bad for you.

The opposite is true. Iodized salt is the reason why people are lacking minerals and feeling tired all the time.

Real mineralized salts like ionic magnesium (salt from the Great Salt Lake in Utah), SOLE salt, and other sea salts sourced from clean areas of the ocean, are the types of salt that will help you get your energy back.

Minerals are nutrients for probiotics. Minerals help you digest food. Minerals help you use the energy your body stores in its cells. Minerals are needed to produce hormones. Minerals are needed to grow things like your hair, skin and nails.

The biggest point I’m trying to make here is that there is conflicting information out there and the only reason why I was able to look past it is because I understood probiotics and fermentation from my beer brewing days.

I needed minerals to ferment beer. Fermentation is not possible without minerals. Digestion is not possible without minerals. Hormone production is not possible without minerals. Growing probiotics is not possible without minerals.

I didn’t want to believe that we are lied to about food this way because I hated the idea of this level of “evil.”

… but I address it head on, because it was something I had to overcome to grow probiotics in my gut and get my thyroid to produce hormones again.

If your thyroid isn't producing hormones, it's likely not from lack of iodine. Chances are you are lacking minerals. Salt isn't the only food with conflicting information. There's another nutrient you absolutely need to produce thyroid hormones, but most doctors will actually tell you to avoid it...

Tools Needed to Complete This e-Course

(Don't buy my program!!! buy these tools instead and get results... once you see a boost of energy, then we can talk...)

The 5-day energy challenge is simple. Aim to drink 2 to 4 quarts of mineralized water a day.

Mineralized water recipe:

1 Quart of clean water
2 mL ionic magnesium
4 mL SOLE salt

An hour before bed, take 4 capsules of fermented cod liver oil & butter oil.

That's it! You should start to notice a boost in energy in as little as five days!

The 5-Day Energy Challenge is just the tip of the iceberg... but if you simply add these to your daily routine, you will be shocked how much it helps when you get to two weeks. Some people may notice a difference much faster. Others may take up to four weeks.

Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg, but I want you to get results before you even start looking at any of our programs.
