When the body is functioning properly, it produces energy and uses that energy to detox itself…

In a normal setting, you have more energy than you have toxins…

… but when the level of toxicity in the body overcomes energy levels we get stuck like an engine that won’t start…

Chronic and debilitating fatigue show up…

The problem then becomes that you need energy to detox… and detoxing drains your energy…

When you have more toxins than you have energy, that’s when fatigue becomes chronic…

Reversing this is the big challenge that needs to be solved…

My approach is essentially divided into 2 phases…

Phase One is to build up energy first and strengthen the body…

I do this by:

#1 Hydrating

I wake up and drink 1 quart of mineralized water first thing upon waking up… and a total of 1.2-1.5 gallons of water a day…

#2 Maintaining high levels of vitamin D

As needed, I supplement with fermented cod liver oil to boost my vitamin D and I get out into the sun as much as possible to maintain…

#3 Improve Mitochondria function

To “jumpstart” energy production I take co-enzyme Q10

Phase Two is to detox…

#1 Greens
I rely on greens as salads or green juices to nourish the body and give it the tools it needs to detox

#2 Herbs
Think of herbs as more potent detoxing foods (and nourishing foods)… especially ayurvedic and adaptogenic herbs

#3 Intermittent Fasting
Possibly the best tool for detoxing… but here’s the caveat…

Detoxing means that you are pushing toxins out of the body…

Toxins hide in body fat…

As you try to get rid of toxins, you expose the body to these toxins which can “shut down” energy production in the body…

That makes the experience counter intuitive because as you detox you produce less energy and feel more tired… but if you push through it eventually you get to levels of toxicity where the body can detox without feeling tired…

If you don’t detox, it only gets harder to overcome chronic fatigue…
I don’t detox too heavily everyday, but a little detoxing at a time adds up over time…

One of the best habits I’ve developed is to boost energy and detox everyday with both co-enzyme Q10 and Ayurvedic herbs

A little bit at a time every day adds up…

I’ll continue to share how I do this as I make progress on my journey…

Cheers!🍻🤙
