People who have lots of energy have strong probiotics in their gut. People who feel tired all the time have weak probiotics in their gut.
A big problem with having weak gut flora is that you will struggle to make vitamins. Without vitamins, your body can't produce hormones or get energy from food.
One of the most common vitamin deficiencies that keeps hypothyroid people in a state of fatigue is vitamin D deficiency. Most thyroid supplements don't address this. Most thyroid supplements focus on things like iron, selenium, iodine, ashwagandha and other stuff that doesn't work if you are dehydrated or if you have weak probiotics in your gut.
Not to mention that most supplements are lab made. If you want energy that lasts all day, you need to make it a point to seek only natural sources of nutrients. This is especially true for vitamin D.
The mistake people make when trying to boost their vitamin D is to take a vitamin D3 supplement. It's easy to make this mistake because it's what doctors recommend and who would think to question their recommendation?
... but you need to know that a vitamin D supplement is not the same as natural vitamin D from fermented foods.
Supplements are made in a lab. Natural vitamins are made naturally by probiotics through digestion and fermentation.
Vitamin supplements are toxic when taken in high doses. Natural vitamins from fermented foods don't need a dose because they are bioavailable (ready for the body to use.)
That’s why when taking a vitamin D3 supplement they give you a dose like 3,000 to 5,000 IUs.
Taking a vitamin D3 supplement doesn't strengthen probiotics. Supplement companies know that you would have to take their supplements for life because you are not addressing the root cause.
Here's how it works...
Say you want vitamin A. Carrots are known for vitamin A, but carrots don't have vitamin A. Carrots have beta-carotene, which is a pre-cursor to vitamin A. When you eat a carrot, your gut flora would typically convert beta-carotene into vitamin A.
... but if your gut flora is weak, then you may become vitamin A deficient.
At that point, you would need to ferment carrots, by making something like kimchi. The probiotics that ferment carrots are the same probiotics that should be in your gut. So, when you eat kimchi, not only are you getting vitamin A, but you are also getting the probiotics that your body is lacking to make vitamin A.
Vitamin D is no different. If you are deficient in vitamin D, you don't fix the issue by taking a vitamin D supplement. You fix the issue by eating fermented foods that contain vitamin D which will also give you the probiotics you need so that your body can produce its own vitamin D without you having to take supplements.
This is how you avoid having to take supplements for life. Many people I talk to spend $100 to $300 on supplements a month.
The only food that contains natural vitamin D in a ready to uptake form (no digestion required) is fermented cod liver oil.
You don't need to take supplements when you give your body the probiotics it needs and create an environment for those probiotics to be healthy in your gut.
Think about this… a vitamin D3 supplement is made by taking sheep’s wool and irradiating it with UV light to make cholecalciferol, which is the isolated compound they call vitamin D3.
I don't know about you, but I don't consider sheep's wool a food.
Cod fish is a food. You could just eat cod fish, but if you have low vitamin D, then that means your gut flora is weak, and you won’t convert enough fish oil into vitamin D.
When you have a vitamin deficiency, you should know to ferment food and that's how you begin to fix your gut flora.
One last quick note since this is a huge topic (I talk more about it in my email newsletter). Fermented cod liver oil is about as close as giving your body a blank hormone template that your body will then use to start producing other hormones. That's because vitamin D is technically a pro-hormone. Think of it like clay that your body can mold into any type of hormone it needs.
When you boost your vitamin D levels, you will see a boost in hormone production. The first one you will notice is melatonin, your sleeping hormone. As you begin to raise your vitamin D levels, you will notice your sleep quality improve. You’ll be able to fall asleep easier and stay asleep. Your dreams will be vivid, and you will wake up feeling refreshed and full of energy.
Other hormones, like thyroid hormone depend on your ability to get enough good quality sleep to be produced.
Vitamin D3 supplements are junk and can’t match fermented cod liver oil (FCLO).
Doctors won’t tell you about it, and you will find negative press on it. I wasted thousands on hormone specialists, and they didn't know this information. They tried to give me a vitamin D3 supplement for life.
Once you see for yourself how good FCLO is, you will understand why vitamin D3 supplements shouldn’t even exist. The only way vitamin D3 supplements can exist is by tearing down fermented foods that because they are natural, they can’t be patented like FCLO.
Improving your vitamin D levels strengthens the probiotics in your gut and that's what helps you transfer energy from food into energy that your body can use.
This is how we helped Itza who was told there was nothing she could do about it because she was 40...
(Don't buy my program!!! buy these tools instead and get results... once you see a boost of energy, then we can talk...)
The 5-day energy challenge is simple. Aim to drink 2 to 4 quarts of mineralized water a day.
Mineralized water recipe:
1 Quart of clean water
2 mL ionic magnesium
4 mL SOLE salt
An hour before bed, take 4 capsules of fermented cod liver oil & butter oil.
That's it! You should start to notice a boost in energy in as little as five days!
The 5-Day Energy Challenge is just the tip of the iceberg... but if you simply add these to your daily routine, you will be shocked how much it helps when you get to two weeks. Some people may notice a difference much faster. Others may take up to four weeks.
Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg, but I want you to get results before you even start looking at any of our programs.
