I used to go to breweries a lot… one day, I came home, and remember talking to mom and said:
“I feel like I have a hole in my stomach”
My belly would make noise and get bubbly.
Basically, I would get very gassy.
This was around the time that I was gaining more weight than ever. Even eating “healthy” salads made me gassy and I still gained weight. There was no winning back then.
The ROOT CAUSE of all these issues was poor digestion.
Poor gut health.
One day, I woke up, hopped in the shower and saw a bunch of hair falling off. Hair was all over the shower including walls and bathtub…
That’s when it clicked…
Leaves fall off trees when the roots have bad bacteria…
… and just like tress…
Hair was falling off my head because my gut had bad bacteria.
It all made sense…
The allergies started to make sense.
“Autoimmune” issues started to make sense…
It was all bad bacteria in my gut.
Bad bacteria in gut meant poor digestion…
It was fermenting food, hence the gas.
That’s when I started to focus on a gut-healing diet.
Everything I did from that point forward was all about healing my gut.
Intermittent fasting helps clean up and heal your gut.
Boosting your vitamin D helps heal your gut.
Taking probiotics helps heal your gut.
Removing junk food, and sugar, helps heal your gut.
Eating traditionally cooked foods (pre-digested or fermented) helps heal your gut.
Just a few months after I went on a gut-healing spree, I noticed how the bubbly gut/leaky gut sensation went away.
My hair stopped falling off.
I stopped gaining weight.
My energy levels started going up.

How to Get Natural Energy without Restrictive Diets or Supplements
When I say I used to feel exhausted, I’m talking about bone-deep fatigue…

I’d take a whole stack of supplements (selenium, iodine, iron, B vitamins, etc…)
… yet my entire system felt like it was under siege… like my body was pulling the fire alarm because of steam from the kettle, and refused to shut it off.
Everything suddenly got louder, harder, and heavier at once.
I was doing everything I could just to get through the day, but nothing worked until I figured out the cells of my body were not getting the nutrients they needed…
It didn’t matter what diet I tried, what supplements I took, or what detox I did…
