No, the body needs amino acids so it can build its own protein. Now there are different levels of fasting (intermittent fasting, block fasting, juice fasting, water fasting, etc.)… the reason why I did juice fasting was because I wanted to get amino acids during this detox. I used this green juice which has spirulina and chlorella which have all the amino acids you need, not to mention chlorella is also really good for detoxing[/text_block]
