Week 1 – Water & Minerals

When dehydrated, the body raises its levels of sugar in circulation which throws your insulin hormone out of balance…

Not good…

It’s a “survival” mechanism trying to mimic what happens when you are given a sugar and salt containing intravenous drip…

Which is why I believe that dehydration is one way hormones begin to get out of balance…

That’s why we’re kicking off week one with making sure your body is fully hydrated so as we progress through this bootcamp and start tweaking our diets, your body will have the ability to digest and function…[/text_block]

Week 2 – Boosting Vitamin D

… but TSH levels don’t tell you anything about energy…

Vitamin D is like the gauge that tells you if your battery has any “charge” left…

Low “charge” = low energy…

When you get very low Vitamin D you begin to feel debilitating fatigue…

Not only is Vitamin D important for energy…

It also measures how strong your immune system is…

It measures gut health…

Hormone production begins in your gut…

So the first thing I focus on is to improve gut health and my #1 strategy to do so is to boost your Vitamin D levels…

Week 2 will guide you in boosting your Vitamin D levels…[/text_block]

Week 3 – Nutrient Depletion

That’s an autoimmune condition, which translates to poor gut health…

Poor gut health means poor digestion…

Poor digestion means poor nutrient absorption…

… and therefore… nutrient depletion…

When the body isn’t getting enough nutrients for important functions like say converting the thyroid hormone T4 into its active form T3… then the body stops what it considers “less important” functions like growing hair, skin and nails…

During this week you’ll learn the nutrients I added to my diet to ensure my body stopped losing hair…

I was growing a beer belly and losing my hair… not exactly looking like the ideal “mate”… embarrassed of my looks…

During this week I will share how I addressed nutrient depletions which I now think of as fundamentals to slowing down the aging process…
